Eisenhower speech students place at state

Mabry, Swain add to proud legacy

Eisenhower High School students Jaila Mabry and Kandyce Swain added a new chapter to Cardinal speech team's legacy of achievement at the IHSA state finals this past weekend.

After winning so many medals at tournaments during the regular season, Jaila took third place in Original Oratory and Kandyce took fifth place in Special Occasion Speaking at state.

They added a new chapter to the legacy of head coach Mark Urban, all the Eisenhower speech coaches, and Cardinal speech alumni at state.
