Explorations In Art!

With our new multi-medium art classes, students will learn to work in several mediums thoughout the year, in our ongoing art program. So, there is no need to choose between drawing nature/animals, watercolors, pastels, oil pastels, colored pencils, pen and  ink, charcoal or graphite anymore! Children will learn techniques and  terminology, creative color work, composition, transfer techniques along with free hand drawing of anything from animals to landscapes. The "how to" aspects of each medium will be taught along with the necessary skills to complete our projects. Students who advance within the class will be given more independent and challenging projects to complete. Students who wish to work independently with instruction in a medium they are already familiar with, are welcome to sign up for any class that meets their time needs. Join in at any time during the year – our projects are always different. Materials supplied. Projects change every session. No class Nov. 24 and Nov. 27. Instructor is Laurie Snaer. Fee is $49 for residents, $59 for non-residents. For ages 8 and older.
