Homeschool Art Program

Our projects will range from learning basic (and advanced) drawing elements to self designed compositions and everything in between. Mediums and topics scheduled to be presented as time will allow are: graphite drawing, colored pencils, charcoal, pen and ink, pastels, collage, watercolors, perspective, portrait drawing, composition and design elements, aspects of presentation, artistic styles, history etc. Projects will be subject to age and abilities of students enrolled. Independent work is encouraged in students who find this more to their liking. Parent suggestions for this program are always welcome. Please send each student with an oversized old T-shirt to use for the duration of the session. No class on Nov. 22. All materials will be supplied. Instructor is Laurie Snaer, a 20-year home schooling veteran. Fee is $49 for residents, $59 for non-residents.
