Lyric Opera Lecture: A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Oak Lawn Public Library, 5300 W. 95th St., will host a free lecture on the opera "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31.  At this informative session, a member of the Lyric Opera Lecture Corps will explain the plot, give background on the composer, Benjamin Britten, and play musical selections.  This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Lawn Library.
