Facebook Coronavirus Do-Gooder Will Be On Dr. Oz Wednesday
An Oak Lawn mom who started a Facebook page to combat coronavirus hoarding will be on Dr. Oz March 25 after they read her story on Patch.

OAK LAWN, IL — An Oak Lawn mom of three who started a Facebook group for others to swap supplies and notify their neighbors where they can find Lysol wipes and toilet paper during the coronavirus emergency will be on Dr. Oz at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, on Fox 32.

Jeannie Oakes was contacted by the show's producers after they read the story on Patch about her Corona-Virus Food and Supplies Hoarder Trading Group. Oakes will be featured in a montage of community videos from across the country showing how people are helping their neighbors get through the pandemic.

"They asked me to submit a 30-second video of what that Facebook page was for and how it started," Oakes said. "I wanted to reach out to my community."

Dr. Phil is also reportedly looking to feature people doing good deeds in their communities during the quarantine.
"A friend nominated me," Oakes laughed.
