BEDFORD PARK, IL — Sixteen men lured with ads for sex services were nabbed in a sting operation set up by Cook County Sheriff’s Police Special Victims Unit in Bedford Park.

Officers placed ads using online websites known for advertising sexual services. A sting operation was set up Wednesday in Bedford Park. Sheriff’s police said 16 men responded to the ads and traveled to the designated location, where they solicited sex from an undercover officer in exchange for money.

Each man was arrested and issued a $1,000 citation for violation of the Cook County public morals nuisance ordinance. In addition, 11 vehicles were towed, requiring the vehicle owner to pay $500 to reclaim their vehicle.
