A rollover crash injured a family of four, including a 10-day-old baby, early Saturday morning.
The accident happened around 1 a.m. when the Honda Civic carrying the family struck a pickup truck full of scrap that was parked near 47th Street and Linder Avenue in Stickney.
According to reports, the Honda Civic was traveling down the street when the adults in the car claimed that the accelerator stuck causing the car to hit the parked truck and roll over.
“They said something happened and the car just took off on them,” said firefighter/paramedic Michael Wodarczyk, of the Central Stickney Fire District.
The family was able to crawl out of the vehicle. Two adults and two children were transported to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood.
