Family Of Woman Killed In 4-Vehicle Crash Retains Attorneys

The family of Anita Chacon have retained a Chicago law firm, which has opened an investigation into last weekend's fatal crash.

OAK LAWN, IL – The family of Anita Chacon have retained attorneys to represent them in the traffic death of their 66-year-old mother, and left her 30-year-old son, Tomas Chacon, fighting for his life.

Their attorneys, Taxman, Pollock, Murray and Bekkerman, have opened an investigation into last weekend’s multi-vehicle crash in Oak Lawn and say they are committed to getting justice for the family. The mother and son were driving home in their Lincoln from a special mother-son date early Sunday morning. A Dodge Charger was traveling south on Cicero at a high speed when police said it struck the rear of the Lincoln, forcing it into the northbound lanes at Cicero Avenue and 110th Street. The Lincoln then struck a Dodge Ram pick-up head on. The crash killed Chacon, while critically injuring her son.

Joann McNary, 32, of Blue Island, and Steven Bradford, 39, of Harvey, have since been charged with felony DUI involving death and reckless homicide pertaining to the crash.
