Fire Damages 7 Mobile Homes at Bridgeview Trailer Park
Bridgeview firefighters battle trailer park blaze that damages seven mobile homes.

Bridgeview, IL -- A fire ravaged a Bridgeview mobile home park early Friday evening. Two homes were extensively damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation, Bridgeview fire officials said.
Bridgeview firefighters responded to a call of a fire at 6 p.m. in the Zeman Rosebud Mobile Home Park at 8800 S. Harlem Avenue. When firefighters arrived, two homes were actively burning. The fire was struck within a half hour.
Battalion Chief Richard Brown, of the Bridgeview Fire Department, said seven mobile homes in total were damaged. The other five mobile homes sustained melted siding and broken windows from the fire.

Two people were treated and released on the scene. There were no other injuries reported. No pets perished in the blaze.

“We were there for quite some time checking hot spots,” Brown said. “We left the scene around 9:40 p.m.,” Brown said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. MABAS Div. 1’s fire investigator task force requested the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal to the scene.
