Firefighters Knock Out Kitchen Fire That Spread To Attic

OAK LAWN, IL -- Oak Lawn firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire late Tuesday afternoon. There were no injuries to the residents or firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Around 4:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a house fire in the 4800 block of West Wick Drive. When crews arrived smoke and flames were showing from the house. The fire had apparently started in the kitchen and quickly spread into the attic. Firefighters quickly knocked out the fire.
