First United Methodist Church of Oak Lawn Offers Pumpkins Of All Shapes, Sizes and Colors
The First Methodist Church of Oak Lawn's Pumpkin Patch returns Oct. 15 through Oct. 31.

OAK LAWN, IL -- One of the Oak Lawn-area’s most beloved fall traditions returns this month with the arrival of the First United Methodist Church of Oak Lawn’s pumpkin patch, now entering its thirteenth year. Opening day for the Pumpkin Patch is Oct. 15 and runs through Oct. 31. The patch is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to dusk and Sunday from noon to dusk on the church grounds at 100th Street and Central Avenue.
The pumpkins are gorgeous this year and the church is offering a wide selection in all shapes, colors and sizes, as well as free family fun including tractor rides, straw toss, spots for fall family pictures and games, along with gifts and goodies for purchase. There is also a giant leaf pile for kids of all ages to jump into.
Proceeds from pumpkin sales go to a variety of mission activities, both local and around the state. The pumpkin patch has raised funds for emergency cleanup from natural disasters, food pantries, literacy programs, the fight against malaria and more. For more info, call 708-423-1170.
