Flames Sweep Through Tent Set Up For Iftar At Bridgeview Restaurant
Bridgeview officials said a tent set up for the meal after Ramadan caught fire outside Al-Bawadi Grill. Video.
BRIDGEVIEW, IL — A fire is raging outside Al-Bawadi restaurant at 87th Street and Harlem Avenue in Bridgeview. According to Bridgeview officials and Arab Chicago Social Network, the blaze broke out Monday evening in a tent used for overflow diners for Iftar.
No injuries have been reported and the cause is under investigation. It's unknown if the restaurant sustained any damage.
