Flip-Flop Wearing Burglar Flees When Caught By Homeowner: Police
Burbank police said the man in flip-flops was still inside the house when the homeowner came back from shopping.

BURBANK, IL — Burbank police are searching for a flip-flop wearing burglar who was still inside a residence when the homeowner arrived home, police said in a news release. Police have released an image of the man from a surveillance camera, and are appealing for the public’s help in identifying him.
Around 5:50 p.m. July 16, Burbank police responded to a report of a burglary in the 8000 block of South Lawler Avenue. The homeowner came home from shopping and saw a man inside her house. She immediately ran to a neighbor’s house to call the police.
The man is of unknown race with a dark complexion. He is described as being in his mid-20s to mid-30s, with an average build. He was wearing a blue shirt, black shorts, a black hat and Adidas sandals.
