FREE Document Shredding Offered Saturday At OLHMS

Bring your unwanted papers to Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School Saturday, Oct. 23, and get them shredded for free.

OAK LAWN, IL –Free, drive-thru document shredding will offered from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School, 5345 W. 99th St., Oak Lawn.

Residents are invited to bring old tax returns, pay stubs, bills, pre-approved credit offers from the mail and receipts. Documents will be shredded on site.

There is a 2-box limit per car (you may also use paper bags, but no plastic). Place your boxes sin the trunk or back seat for quick removal. A volunteer will take your items. The boxes will be returned to your vehicle.

The shredding event is on the south side of OLHMS. Enter off of Oak Center Drive.

Any documents to be shredded must be unbound; please remove any staples, clips or paper clips before arrival. Shredding is by Shark Shredding.
