Fruitastic-O's Will Close For The Season At The End Of Sept.
New pint size containers make it possible to enjoy Fruitastic-O all year long.

Starting Labor Day weekend, Fruitastic-O will begin selling pint size containers of their Italian Ice and Cream Ice for $8. Kelly Small, manager, Fruitastic-O began, “All season long our customers have been asking us to make Fruitastic-O’s frozen treats available in a take home pint size. We are excited introduce our new pint size container. Now our customers can enjoy a little taste of summer even when the fall and winter months are underway!”
According to owner Mike Small, and the other half of this father-daughter duo, nothing makes them happier than seeing their customers’ enjoying their Italian Ice and Cream Ice. Mike shared, “Having our signature classic lawn chairs filled with families and friends spending time together and enjoying our frozen treats is one of the most rewarding parts of owning Fruitastic-O. We work hard to deliver the perfect blend of flavors and fruit when making every batch of our Italian Ice or Cream Ice.”
Have you heard of Ice Cream University? Believe it or not, Ice Cream University does exist and Mike is a graduate. Using the techniques he learned, Mike creates from scratch each flavor of Fruitastic-O’s Italian Ice and Cream Ice. Mike explained, “I perfected over 50 Fruitastic-O recipes. This season, our Cream Ice flavors that have been the most popular are lemon and apple pie. For our Italian Ice varieties, lemon, strawberry, and chocolate fudgsicle were our most popular flavors.”

Fruitastic-O’s second season will draw to a close at the end of September. They are located in Mt. Greenwood Park in front of the Splash Pad off of 111th. Fruitastic-O’s hours of operation for the holiday weekend will be Saturday 1pm-9pm, Sunday, 1pm-8 pm, and Monday Labor Day 5pm-9pm.
