Fugitive Wanted For Child Sex Assault May Have Left State: Cops
A no-bond arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of sexually assaulting fourth-grader.
BRIDGEVIEW, IL — A no-bond warrant was issued for a man accused of sexually assaulting a Bridgeview fourth-grader. Michael Wisneski,38, is wanted on a charge of predatory criminal sexual assault. Wisneski is believed to have fled the state, police said.
Between Sept. 29 and Oct. 19, Wisneski is said to have sexually assaulted his girlfriend’s young daughter. A Bridgeview detective told the judge that the girl told her teacher at school that she was being sexually assaulted. The school notified police.
Police interviewed the girl and some of her friends. Wisneski showed up in the girl’s mother’s cell phone contacts. The detective testified that officers went to Wisneski’s parents house, who said they haven’t seen their son since Nov. 29. His parents think Wisneski left the state, the detective said.
