Gene Simmons' Rock and Brews Restaurant Coming To Oak Lawn

OAK LAWN, IL -- Attention KISS Army! Get ready to party every day because a new Rock and Brews is coming to Stony Creek Promenade in Oak Lawn. The restaurant concept is backed by rock legends Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS fame. Rock and Brews is based out of California with more than 20 locations nationwide, and is big supporter of veterans.

Rock and Brews offers an energized dining and entertainment experience, serving good old fashioned (and affordable) American comfort food, as well as a broad selection of craft beers. Guests will be immersed in a family friendly rock and roll atmosphere. The company plans to open 15 to 20 locations in the hypercompetitive Chicagoland market over the next several years, according to TimeOut Chicago.

The new Rock and Brews marks the start of Phase II of Stony Creek Promenade under development by Hamilton Partners. The handsome development is anchored by Mariano’s and Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant at 111th Street and Cicero Avenue in Oak Lawn.

The expansion will also include Barrel Club, which claims to offer the finest steaks and chops in the area and affordable comfort food. Barrel Club guests may choose fine dining in the main dining space, private dining options or they relax in the large wrap-around outdoor patio with a fire pit and comfortable furniture. Inside, the large horseshoe shaped bar is designed for comfort and conversation.

Both restaurants are slated to open in Spring 2019. Mayor Sandra Bury said Oak Lawn residents can expect some more exciting retail announcements soon.

“We’re excited to announce these amazing full-service restaurants, which will add excitement and energy to this already successful development,” Bury said in a news release. “Residents have asked for more full-service restaurants and these will be perfect choices for date nights, special occasions or just going out with friends for a wonderful time. We can hardly wait to break ground ... they are all excellent additions to Stony Creek Promenade.”
