Girlfriend Claims Boyfriend Planted Dope On Her: Prosecutor
She claimed he planted heroin on her without her knowing, prosecutors said.

OAK LAWN, IL -- An Alsip man was arrested Sunday after his girlfriend claimed that he planted drugs on her, prosecutors said in court.
Kevin Whitworth, 36, appeared before Cook County Judge Donald Havis on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Oak Lawn police had just arrested Whitworth’s girlfriend in the Park Lawn Shopping Center parking lot at 9608 S. Pulaski Road. The girlfriend allegedly told police that her boyfriend have planted drugs on her without her knowing. When police went to talk to Whitworth, he was in possession of a tin containing heroin and two hypodermic needles.

The assistant public defender told the judge that Whitworth completed up to the eleventh grade at Shepard High School. Whitworth was released on a $10,000 I-bond.
