Great Deals This Weekend At First United Methodist Rummage Sale

OAK LAWN, IL — Head over to the First United Methodist Church of Oak Lawn's "nearly new" rummage sale this weekend, where you're bound to find something that you never knew you needed, and some stuff that you actually do need. The sale runs Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 30 to Saturday, Oct. 2, at 100th Street and Central Avenue in Oak Lawn.

Hours for the sale are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, and Saturday, Oct. 2.

All kinds of cool stuff will be available, including gently used children's, women's and men's apparel, accessories, housewares, decor, tools, toys, books, DVDs and CDs, and other treasures.

Saturday is the big day, where most items will be $5 a bag. There are many great deals. Proceeds go to Missions.

The church will honor all state mandates and CDC guidelines, so shoppers are asked to mask up or wear a face shield. Please be patient if you have to wait a few minutes to enter a room to maintain safe social distancing. For more info, call 708-423-1170 or email fumcoffice1@att.net.
