Grocery Stores Offer 'Senior Hours' During Coronavirus Crisis
A round-up of supermarket chains offering "senior shopping hours" for older adults and other high risk persons during COVID-19 crisis.
OAK LAWN, IL — Due to the coronavirus crises, many supermarket chains are offering "senior hours" for adults age 60 and over and other high risk persons before stores open to the general public in the morning, when the stores are at their most clean and freshly re-stocked.

March 20 until further notice

7 to 9 a.m., Tuesday and Thursday

7 to 8 a.m. every day for
seniors and immunocompromised persons

Every Tuesday, one hour before store opens
from March 24 through April 28; pharmacy and
vision center will also be open; check your
local Walmart for hours.
Stores will open to seniors one hour before they open to the general public. Stores will close up to two hours early to allow for cleaning.
