Group Interpretation from Richards qualified for state
Best In Fest at SSC drama festival, and now a state qualifier

Both competitive drama productions from Richards High School this weekend placed second at the Illinois High School Association Sectional to advance next weekend to the state finals in Sterling.
The Group Interpretation production of “I Hate Fairyland” took second place to advance to the state finals. Jason Mallo, Kim Saltin, and Dr. Mike Jacobson serve as directors.
Richards students Ted Taylor, Erin Barker, Quinn Thurn, Charlie Schultz, Annalisa Lammel, Christian Diaz, Cal Sheahan, Truman Ziolkowski and Demetrius Henry earned All-Sectional Cast honors for Group Interpretation.
