Hannum School's "Pages in the Park"

What’s better than blankets, books, and fresh air in the park?  How about being read to by your principal! 

Hannum Elementary School principal, Mrs. Anne Marie McGovern, promotes summer reading by having story time in the shade at Sullivan Park in Oak Lawn.

Each Hannum family received a copy of Judy Blume’s, “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing” at the end of the school year.  Additionally, they were provided activities to complete together as a family.  Mrs. McGovern met with students and their families at Sullivan Park several times throughout the summer to read together and talk about their summer reading challenge.

The final activity is a costume parade on August 28th where students will dress up as their favorite character from the book.  I wonder who Mrs. McGovern will dress up as?
