Harlem Avenue and 84th Street Now Open
Harlem Avenue and 84th Street are now open following an accident Friday evening where a car hit a light pole, Bridgeview police said.
BRIDGEVIEW, IL — Bridgeview police are asking motorists to avoid the area of 84th Street and Harlem Avenue due to an accident Friday evening.
A light pole was hit by a car that is now hanging over the street. Harlem Avenue is closed in both directions between 82nd and 87th streets.
Police are currently waiting on Meade Electric, which maintains the village light and utility poles.

“Until they get here, we can’t do anything,” said Chief Ricardo Mancha, of the Bridgeview Police Department.
It is unknown if there are any injuries.
