Haunted Historic Senator Humphrey House Night is coming Nov. 2nd

Special Paranormal Night at the haunted historic location, Senator John Humphrey House in Orland Park, IL. With Chicago Psychic Medium Edward Shanahan.

To be held on Saturday, November 2nd, from 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm. It is limited to a small number of people. Only $30 per person and reserve with 1/2 down.

For the first time, Edward Shanahan (that is me - author of this article) will attempt to bring the last Humphrey Family Member to live in the home, John Humphrey Jr., into the Circle of Energy Spirit Experience Session, some call it a seance.

John Humphrey Jr., will not be the only Humphrey family member I invite in for all living to experience and will also attempt Spirit Communication during this session.

The paranormal night will begin with a down the block walking tour to see the Orland Park, IL. Historic Buildings that are known to have paranormal activity.

The night also includes exploring the location / investigating and doing EVP's / Spirit Communication Sessions / Session to open you up to experiencing the emotions and energy left behind / Mini Psychic Reading to see who is an Old Soul.

Finishing the night with my Circle of Energy Spirit Experience Session, some call it a seance.

The Senator John Humphrey House in Orland Park, Illinois, is not only a historic location but also a rare haunted historic home in Illinois for the fact that in all the years, only one family has lived in the house. The John Humphrey family.

The historic home remained in the family until it was turned over to the Orland Historical Society in 1987 with the death of the youngest Humphrey family member, John Jr.

As a Spirit Feeler, I discovered the Humphrey House in 2007, and until then, it was not known to the public as a haunted location.

Walking into the home, I knew it was active, how active, I did not know. I did learn one thing that no one in the paranormal field knew at the time or until I made it public, is that Senator John Humphrey House has a significant tie to Bachelor's Grove Cemetery.

John Humphrey and his first wife, Amelia's first child 'Libby' died at 11 months old. Mrs. Humphrey's family (Patrick), had a family plot and family buried at Bachelor's Grove Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Humphrey had Libby buried with Mrs. Humphrey's family members at Bachelor's Grove, as the Humphrey family did not own a family plot.

The question asked by many is Mrs. Amelia Humphrey buried in a different cemetery than her first child Libby, the one who is buried at Bachelor's Grove Cemetery. Could Mrs. Humphrey be the woman holding a child seen at Bachelor's Grove? Most feel that she is.

The family members who passed away during the time the Humphrey family lived in the home, the viewing of the deceased for the public was in the living room of the Senator John Humphrey House.

Senator John Humphrey died in 1914 (age of 76), Ida (his second wife), lived until the 1950s and something very rare for that time frame was done when she died. John, the youngest child, had the viewing of his mother in the living room of the home, as was done with other family members in the past.

The living room is the area of the house that I always hold my 'Circle of Energy Spirit Experience Sessions' that some call a seance.

The living room is also the location that I do the Private Psychic Readings and Spirit Communications for individuals. Doing so in the living room provides an experience for the person who does feel the energy of spirits, and assists in the Spirit Communication Session I may provide for them.

The house has paranormal activity. I have had two paranormal teams and another Spirit Feeler with one of those teams at the location, and they confirmed what I already knew, that spirits are there and active in the home known as The House on the Hill, Senator John Humphrey House.
