The varsity cheerleaders from Richards High School this weekend closed a great season.
They qualified for the IHSA state finals for the first time in 11 years. Ultimately they took 17th place in the Medium Division.
Other season highlights included taking second place at Lincoln-Way East, second at the south Suburban Conference Red Division tournament, and second at the IHSA sectional.
