Huge Turnout For Tiny Art Show In Oak Lawn
Close to 100 canvases were submitted to the Oak Lawn Public Library's Tiny Art Show. Vote for the People's Choice Award through July 31.
OAK LAWN, IL — Miniature masterpieces occupied a big space with 96 pieces submitted to the Oak Lawn Public Library’s Tiny Art Show. The pieces will be on view through the end of July.
Attendees packed the show’s opening reception on July 13. Organized by programming librarian Kate Donley, the show is just one part of the “Find Your Voice” Summer Reading celebration at the Oak Lawn Public Library.
The library collaborated with Acorn to Oak Studio, a new non-profit youth and community art center that meets at Pilgrim Faith United Church of Christ and offers fine art classes across all mediums. Acorn to Oak curated the show.
