Hurler John Olejniczak Named Oak Lawn Athlete Of The Month
Olejniczak did not allow a single run during his three appearances in March for the Oak Lawn Community High School baseball team.
OAK LAWN, IL — There is solid pitching, and then there is domination. For the month of March, sophomore left-hander John Olejniczak has been simply dominant on the mound for the Oak Lawn Community High School baseball team.
Olejniczak did not allow a single run during his three appearances in the month. The southpaw struck out 19 batters. And he threw a no-hitter against Morton. In all, he went 3-0 and only gave up two hits along the way. The Spartans defeated Crete-Monee, Morton. and Simeon.
As a result of his sizzling March, Olejniczak was named “Athlete of the Month” at OLCHS.
