Interactive Map To Houses Entered In OL Halloween Decorating Contest

OAK LAWN, IL — The 2024 contest for the creepiest, scariest house in the second annual Oak Lawn Halloween Home Decorating contest has closed. The winners will be announced Oct. 30.

A panel of Halloween devotees from the Oak Lawn arts and events commission along with the scaremeisters from Midnight Terror Haunted House are evaluating the registered decorated houses this week.

Drive by the 24 ghoulish houses entered in the 2024 contest, shown on the map below. Also included are last year’s winners and honorable mentions. Special thanks for Vernon Zumhagen, of the Village of Oak Lawn, for sharing entrants with Patch.

Drive by these houses over the weekend or go trick or treating there over Halloween. A few of these homes are also featured on Patch's Best 2024 Halloween Yard Haunts: Cook County, Chicago.
