A woman was arrested after she vomited on a security officer during a visit to the emergency room at Advocate Christ Medical Center, prosecutors said.
Mia Allen, 28, sought treatment for asthma in the hospital’s emergency room at 4440 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, during the evening of Jan. 20. When told she could not have visitors because she was under quarantine, prosecutors said Allen became irate.

Prosecutors said as security officer held a door open for Allen, she vomited on his arm. She also spit on his leg.

Allen was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer.
The assistant public defender called the allegations highly unusual.
“I don’t know how many people can vomit on command,” he said.
Bail was set at $75,000. The judge ordered electronic home monitoring and random drug testing if she bonds out.
Allen is due back in court on Feb. 9 in Bridgeview.
