Jerks Slash Halloween Inflatable Decorations

OAK LAWN, IL -- More than $1,000 worth of Halloween decorations were destroyed by vandals during the evening of Oct. 21 in Oak Lawn, reports said.

According to police, the homeowner heard young male voices around 10 p.m. outside her home in the 10400 block of South Linus Lane. When she went outside to investigate, she discovered that her four large inflatable Halloween decorations had been slashed.

The total loss was $1,200. The homeowner filed a delayed police report for insurance purposes.
