Join Richards NHS next week to crochet caps for babies

All caps to Advocate Hope Children's Hospital

Faculty sponsor Dorothy Groff and National Honor Society from Richards High School next week will start a community service project for infants at Advocate Hope Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn.

Anyone may join them.

After school from Tuesday through Thursday (January 16, 17, and 18) NHS will crochet hats like the ones pictured. You don't need any experience. Just bring a crocheting needle (size K, or 6.5mm) and some red heart yarn.

Each day will focus on a new step in the crochet process. They will start each day at about 3:20 p.m. NHS will donate all caps to the hospital.

If you're interested, please RSVP to Mrs. Groff at dorothy.groff@chsd218.org.
