Judge Allows Hubby Charged With Choking Wife To Temporarily Live Next Door
Alsip man asks permission to live with next door neighbors until his employer can arrange a transfer. Judge grants it.

An Alsip man charged with aggravated domestic battery will be allowed to temporarily reside next door to his wife until his employer can transfer him.
Dwayne Town appeared in bond court on Wednesday on charges that he grabbed his wife’s throat during an argument. Prosecutors said that police noted several small scratches on her neck.
The judge set bail at $10,000 and ordered Town to have no contact with his wife. He was also required to surrender his guns. The assistant public defender confirmed that Town’s guns were in possession of the Alsip Police Department.

Town was back in court on Thursday after his next door neighbors bonded him out of jail the day before, the assistant public defender said.
She requested an escort for Town so he could retrieve personal belongings from the home in the 11700 block of South Kildaire Avenue, Alsip.

Town also asked for permission to temporarily reside with his next door neighbors until his employer can arrange a transfer.
Cook County Judge John Gallagher granted him permission but told Town to avoid all contact with his wife.
