CHICAGO, January 29, 2026 — Add another business to your list of lucky places to buy lotto tickets, because a gas station in Justice sold a winning $550,000 Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Illinois Lottery on Wednesday.
One lucky Illinois Lottery player matched all five numbers in the Wednesday, January 28 evening drawing to win the game’s $550,000 jackpot. The winning numbers were: 2-10-17-29-38.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Exxon Mobil gas station, located at 8359 S. Robert Road, in Justice. For selling the winning ticket, the store will receive a bonus of 1 percent of the prize amount, or $5,500.

In total, nearly 36,000 winning tickets were sold in the Wednesday evening Lucky Day Lotto drawing.
Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize. The Illinois Lottery encourages all lucky winners to sign the back of their ticket and store it in a safe place until they are ready to claim their prize.

Lucky Day Lotto is an Illinois-only draw game with two daily drawings at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m., and jackpots starting at $100,000. Tickets are available in-store, online, and via the Illinois Lottery app.
