Justice Man Offered to Buy Teen Cigarettes in Exchange for Oral Sex: Prosecutor
Prosecutor said man and girl discussed plan over Facebook messenger, prosecutor said.

HICKORY HILLS, IL -- A Justice man was charged with offering to buy cigarettes for a teen he met on Facebook in exchange for oral sex, prosecutors said.
Joseph Jones, 21, appeared before Cook County Judge Donald Havis on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and indecent solicitation of a minor. The prosecutor said that Jones is currently on probation for residential burglary. He was arrested on Jan. 7, according to court records.
The prosecutor said that Jones began communicating with a 15-year-old girl from Hickory Hills over Facebook Messenger last July. The girl asked Jones how old he was and if he could buy her cigarettes.

Jones allegedly agreed to buy her cigarettes if would she would perform oral sex. The two communicated back and forth about cigarettes, oral sex and her lack of experience.
The teen and another close family member met Jones at a Shell station on July 24, 2016, who was with another man. The family member and the other man went to the Shell station at 8817 S. Roberts Road. When they were gone, the prosecutor said the girl performed oral sex on Jones in the back seat of the car.

The family member alleged that she saw the act when she returned to the car. The next day the girl told her family what happened. Police recovered the conversation from Facebook, which they traced back to Jones, the prosecutor said.
The assistant public defender told the judge that Jones is a “very, very young man. The allegations don't bear out to forced activity.”
Judge Havis ordered Jones to be held without bail because of his current probation.
“No bail, your honor?” Jones asked.
Jones is due back in court Feb. 1 in Bridgview.
