Katie Casey Birdies Way To Top Spot On Oak Lawn Spartan Girls Golf
The Oak Lawn Community High School senior has the lowest average on the team thus far and is playing as the number-one golfer.
OAK LAWN, IL — Senior Katie Casey continues to make great strides as one of the top players for the Oak Lawn Community High School girls golf team this season. When she shot a birdie in the second match of the season, it displayed exactly how she is stepping up to lead the Spartans on the course.
Casey has the lowest average on the team thus far and is playing as the number-one golfer. She remains consistent with low scores.
“Katie continues to lead our team as we compete during the season and is always willing to help out her teammates,” OLCHS head coach Kate Mellone said. “Katie is always looking to improve her game and get better on the course. I cannot wait to see what Katie continues to bring in her senior year.”
