Katie Casey Brings Consistency To OLCHS Girls Golf Team

OAK LAWN, IL – Consistency is the key to golf. All the practice, all the mechanics, all the routine—being consistent separates golfers on the course. Sophomore Katie Casey was exactly that all season for the Oak Lawn Community High School girls golf team. She was consistent and finished the year with the lowest average on the team.

“Katie had a strong score all season long,” said head coach Kate Mellone. “She is always helping her teammates and encouraging them. Katie spends time practicing on her own, and it shows through her scores. As only a sophomore, we cannot wait to see what Katie brings to the team next year.”
