Hawk Ford in Oak Lawn is looking for automotive porters/valets. Assist management to ensure that all vehicles on the premises and on surrounding premises are well-maintained, in the correct location and secured. Assist in keeping lot areas neat and orderly at all times. Washing new and used inventory and customer vehicles.
Duties include:

• Make key tags for vehicles
• Maintain shop appearance for safety and cleanliness
• Ensure parking areas are orderly
• Sweep, shovel or vacuum loose debris and remove from work areas and the lot
• Move vehicles as directed by management and in accordance with dealership standards
• Maintains professional appearance
• Washing new and used inventory and customer vehicles
• Pickup and delivery of vehicles from other dealerships
• General cleaning and maintaining overall appearance of the dealership facilities, organizing vehicle inventory and shop cleaning.
• Perform other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license
• Candidate must be at least 19 years of age
• Candidate must be able to operate a manual transmission
• Candidate must be able to work mornings and afternoons

The Oak Lawn Park District is currently recruiting aquatics swim instructors to teach aquatics fitness classes on Saturday mornings year round at Richards High School’s indoor pool. The qualified candidate will possess experience in leading an exercise group in aquatics or related area.. Must possess Aquatic Fitness and/or Water Aerobic Certification This is a part time, hourly position averaging 1-3 hours per week. The job pays $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. The Burbank Park District is currently seeking a preschool teacher for our 3 yr. and 4 yr. old preschool program. The schedule for the 4yr. old preschool is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 A.M.-2:15 P.M. The 3 yr. old preschool is held on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 A.M.-1:15 AM. Fall Mock Interview Day -- Whether you’re a novice or veteran job hunter, practice your interviewing skills at the Job Resource Center at Moraine Valley Community College’s Fall Mock Interview Day. The college is also seeking employers to volunteer as interviewers of job hunters looking to learn and brush up on their job interviewing skills, plus offer sage advice and pointers. The event will take place Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Moraine Business and Conference Center (Building M) on the MVCC campus, 9000 W. College Parkway, in Palos Hills.
