Teacher in the Library

The Evergreen Park Library has a part-time position for a teacher in the library from Sept. 3, 2013 through May 22, 2014, when school is in session. A valid, current State of Illinois Teaching Certificate is required. The “teacher in the library” is responsible for helping students K-8 with homework assignments and computer skills. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is a plus. Two qualified teachers may job share. Hours are from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. $25 per hours. Apply by June 28. Bakery Production Supervisor


A production supervisor is needed at Labriola Baking Company in Alsip, the premiere artisan bakery serving the Chicago-area’s top restaurants. The Supervisor's major responsibility is to oversee and coordinate daily production operations. Must be fluent in Spanish and knowledgeable in lean manufacturing techniques. Must be able to work second shift and weekends. FBI Linguist Job Fair


The Chicago office of the FBI is recruiting individuals with fluency in a variety of foregin languages. Contracted linguists will assist in translating documents or audio recordings into English, serving as interpreters for investigative interviews and providing translation during visits by foreign dignitaries. Bring a resume and be prepared for an on-site foreign language assessment interview. Linguists that are U.S. citizens and fluent in in Bulgarian, Chinese Mandarin/Cantonese, Farsi, Hebrew, Somali, Arabic-Yemeni, Uzbek and Spanish (Dominican, Puerto Rican and Mexican dialects) are encouraged to attend. The job fair is being held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Assyrian National Council of Illinois, located at 9131 Niles Center Road in Skokie.  Free parking is available at the corner of Kenton and Church.
