Windy City ThunderBolts are looking for qualified individuals to the work the 2017 season, which runs from May to September. The game day jobs include part-time positions in concessions and fan services (ushers, the kid zone and others).

  • Stand Manager / Cook / Cashier-Server / Fan Services.
  • Team Photographer - must have own equipment and experience shooting sports.
  • Cleaning Crew to clean stadium before games. Hours are approximate 6 a.m. to noon on game days.

Applicants must be 16 years at the time employment begins. If needed, applicants should mention their school situation, including when you can start after school ends and when you leave for school in the fall. Callbacks and job interviews are not guaranteed after you send in an application.

Penny Lane Schools is always looking for fun, energetic and patient individuals to join its team at three locations in Oak Lawn, Chicago Ridge and Dist. 218. Due to high enrollment at its various centers, Penny Lane is looking for early childhood professionals to fill teaching and teacher assistant positions. Village of Oak Lawn currently has several openings, including a zoning and engineering assistant project coordinator in the Department of Community Development and Growth Management; a full-time police detention aide (apply by April 17); full-time police officer (experienced only; apply by April 21); and a part-time senior citizen bus driver ($13 per hour). Jersey Mike’s Subs is hiring team members for its new location in Crestwood at 13426 S. Cicero Ave., Crestwood. The restaurant is slated to open in June. Hirees will be trained across all positions. Some hiring and training is happening already. SXU Bridges to Employment Veterans Job Fair -- Are you a veteran in search of a job? Do you need assistance in networking? Saint Xavier University is joining forces with Student Veterans of America-Illinois to offer its first-ever job fair and panel discussion catering to local veterans. Bridges to Employment will take place April 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Shannon Center on SXU's Chicago campus located at 3700 W. 103rd St. Veterans will get tips from the experts on translating their military experience into civilian careers as well as a chance to network with potential employers.
