Los Lobos Returns To Perform Benefit At 115 Bourbon Street
Los Lobos returns to perform a benefit for St. Germaine Parish and School on April 6 at 115 Bourbon Street. Tickets are on sale now.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Four-time Grammy winner Los Lobos had such a great time playing a sold-out benefit for St. Germaine Parish in Oak Lawn last year that they are returning April 6 for an encore. Instead of performing in St. Germaine’s activity center, the parish has booked 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online.
“We are expecting this year’s event to be much larger as we sold out pretty quickly last year and turned away over 300 people,” parishioner and organizer Ernie Pedroza said. “This year we are taking the event to 115 Bourbon Street to handle the larger expected crowd.”
Los Lobos’ multi-faceted sound blends rock, soul, punk, blues and Tex Mex along with traditional Mexican folk music. The band has won four Grammys and was nominated in 2015 for the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame (they didn't make it). Los Lobos' most recent album "Gates of Gold" has also drawn critical acclaim.
