Luck Be A Lady! Park Lawn's Queen of Hearts Raffle $108,000

OAK LAWN, IL—Oh, luck be a lady—preferably a Queen of Hearts lady. Last week was a rollover in Park Lawn's progressive Queen of Hearts raffle. The jackpot has swelled to $108,000 and climbing.

Now in its 39th week, the next big draw in Park Lawn’s Queen of Hearts raffle is this Wednesday, July 10. The drawing happens at 7 p.m. every Wednesday, at At The Office Sports Bar and Grill, 4901 Cal Sag Road, Crestwood.

Last week's unlucky number was the 6 of clubs in the 15 position. The elusive lady has yet to come out of hiding after 39 rollovers. Tickets are ON SALE NOW for Wednesday's drawing, 6 for $5, 10 for $12 or 24 for $20. Buy them at "At The Office" Sports Bar And Grill or at Park Lawn's two Oak Lawn locations at 10833 Laporte Avenue or 5040 W. 111th St.

The winner walks away with 60% of the jackpot, with 40% going to Park Lawn's residential, vocational and support services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Here's how the game works: The game consists of a deck of 52 shuffled playing cards plus the two jokers. Each is placed into a sealed envelope and placed on the board. A raffle ticket is drawn every week, and that person gets to reveal a card. If the queen of hearts surfaces, that's the big winner; otherwise, the jackpot rolls over.
