Lucky Chicago Ridge Resident Wins $250K Illinois Lottery Prize

A lucky Chicago Ridge resident is $250,000 richer after instantly winning a top prize in the Illinois Lottery. Rick Dawson won after scratching a $250,000 Crossword ticket.

Dawson bought his winning ticket at 7-Eleven, 10658 S. Ridgeland Ave., in Chicago Ridge. 7-Eleven also received $2,500, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. Dawson plans to buy a house with his winnings.
