Man Found Shot In Burbank Home, 3 Being Questioned

Three men are being questioned after another man was found shot in a Burbank home. Police believe the shooting to be a domestic incident.

BURBANK, IL — A man was shot Friday morning in Burbank, in what is being described by police as an “isolated domestic incident.” Three men at the home were taken into custody for further investigation.

Burbank police responded to a possible shots-fired call around 9:10 a.m. in the 7900 block of Oak Park Avenue. When officers arrived at the home, they discovered a man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he is reportedly being treated for a gunshot wound to the leg. Police said the man is expected to be released in the next day or two.

Three men ranging in age from 21 to 31 are being questioned. They are believed to be related. No one else was injured or involved in the shooting at the home. Police are not searching for additional suspects. A search warrant for the house is being sought. The gun has not yet been located, police said.
