Man In Surgical Mask Tries To Lure Children To His Car: Police
Oak Lawn police said the man tried to lure some children to his car by offering a plastic police badge wrapped in plastic.

OAK LAWN, IL — A man wearing a surgical mask tried to lure some Oak Lawn children to his car, according to police information obtained by Patch. The information was sent Thursday morning.
The incident happened in the 10400 block of South Kedvale Avenue. The man was believed to be driving a white Crown Victoria when he called some middle school-aged children to his car, according to police. Authorities said the man tried to give the kids a plastic police badge wrapped in plastic. The children told police that the badge looked like it came from a vending machine.
The suspect was described as a white middle-aged man wearing a surgical mask and dark sunglasses.
