Man Threatens To Shoot Everyone At McDonald's: Cops

A Chicago man is charged with disorderly conduct after he threatened to shoot everyone at an Oak Lawn McDonalds, cops said.

OAK LAWN, IL -- A Chicago man has been charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly threatened to shoot people at a fast food restaurant. Oak Lawn police responded to a disorderly conduct call around 6:58 p.m. July 3 at McDonald’s, 10535 S. Cicero Ave.

On their way to the restaurant officers learned that a man, later identified as 22-year-old Eric Salgado, had just left McDonald’s and was walking to a nearby Walgreens, reports said. An employee told police that Salgado had been yelling inside the restaurant and threatening to shoot people. Police saw a man matching Salgado’s description, who had a tattoo on his left hand.

Officers stopped Salgado and patted him down. According to the report, Salgado told police that he was at McDonald’s when he saw someone he knew. As he was talking to the acquaintance, Salgado said he became irritated and got into a verbal argument. Police said Salgado denied threatening to shoot anyone. As police were speaking with Salgado, a McDonald’s employee was brought to the scene, who positively identified Salgado, reports said.
