OAK LAWN, IL — The Village of Oak Lawn’s annual Fourth of July parade will be step off at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 2. Families and friends will father to watch the parade from 95th Street from 51st Avenue to 55th Court. A concert by the Midwest’s greatest country tribute band, the Young Guns, will follow immediately on the village green.

The village is registering participants to march in the parade. Organizations, scout troops, school marching bands, veterans, businesses, candidates, civic groups, youth sports teams, dance troupes, clubs, and places of worship have until Tuesday, June 21, to complete an application to march in the parade. There is no fee to march in the parade.

Download and complete the application, and email it to Deanne Adasiak, dadasiak@oaklawn-il.gov. You can also mail or drop the application off at Oak Lawn Village Hall, 9446 S. Raymond Ave., Oak Lawn, IL 60453.
