The Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce will host the 15th Business Showcase & Health Fair on Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oak Lawn Community High School.
The fair will feature businesses, their products and services, healthcare providers, financial and banking representatives and home improvement specialists, according to an Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce news release.
Advantage Pharmacy will provide free flu shots, free blood glucose testing and blood pressure screenings.
The Business Showcase is held in conjunction with the Fall Arts and Crafts Fair, sponsored by the Parent-Teacher School Association.
“The Chamber encourages area residents to ‘Shop Oak Lawn First!’ and the Business Showcase presents an ideal opportunity to meet with local business owners and learn more about their businesses and what they have to offer,” said Showcase committee chair George Cachares in a news release.
New this year is a sock donation for the local PADS shelter, sponsored by the Oak Lawn Chamber.
Part of the proceeds from the showcase will provided college scholarships to eligible Oak Lawn seniors, according to the news release.
