
The District 218 Education Foundation will sponsor its 12th annual Arts Extravaganza on Friday, April 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Richards High School, 10601 S. Central Avenue in Oak Lawn.
Tickets, available at the door, cost $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens (free for kids 5 and under.) Admission includes great food.
This event, the finest high school arts festival anywhere, raises money for college scholarships and teacher grants.

- Sloppy joes with fried onions and chipotle aioli
- Spinach and strawberry skewers
- Greek chicken meatballs with tzatziki and pita
- Red pepper empanadas with alfredo sauce
- Mini apple pies with caramel sauce
- Cheesecake flautas with strawberry sauce
- Coconut rice pudding with candied nuts
- Puff pastry stars with nutella and raspberry
