Motorcyclist Hurt In Crash With Pickup At Bridgeview Intersection

BRIDGEVIEW, IL — Bridgview police are investigating an accident that left the motorcyclist in serious condition Wednesday evening. Police shut down a stretch of 79th Street between Roberts Road and 78th Avenue.

Around 8:45 p.m., the motorcycle and a pickup truck crashed in the intersection, police said. The motorcyclist, who is not named, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he remains in serious condition.

Investigators shut down the eastbound lanes of 79th Street to reconstruct the accident. The westbound lanes were also closed between Roberts Road and Oketo Avenue.
