Mass Set Friday At St. Linus For Erica Heilmann
Visitation for Erica Heilmann got underway Thursday at St. Linus Church in Oak Lawn. A funeral Mass is planned for Friday.
OAK LAWN, IL -- Visitation is now underway for Erica Heilmann at St Linus Church through 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 at 10300 Lawler Ave., Oak Lawn. Mrs. Heilmann passed away Sunday after an eight-year battle with cancer. She was 43.
Mrs. Heilmann was director and producer of the Oak Lawn Park District’s Broadway Junior theatre program, and starred in many of the park district’s community theatre productions. She also taught theatre for 20 years at Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing. She was the wife of former mayor Dave Heilmann, and the mother of four children.
A Mass of the Resurrection is planned for 11 a.m. Friday, also at St. Linus Church.
